The fact that you paid what you consider too much was your choice.
The warden had probably only just been made aware sometime after 8am that there was a problem. He would have checked it out himself and then called for a plumber. He may have been unaware the full extent of any blockage and whether it affected the service block. Not everybody welcomes somebody knocking on their door early morning (for some).
I have no idea why 'hover boards' are banned as when I have seen them used they have not been particularly fast but I note that some are rated at 10mph and some at 13mph. The warden was correct in enforcing the rule however.

Easy T, I appreciate your comments, however I did pay more for what I thought were better facilities?
There were 4 wardens on site, surely people could have been made aware of the problem with the toilets, and I can assure you in my experience most people are up and about at that time. Some people for medical reasons do require good toilet facilities.
I can also assure you that my grandson at the age of 8 would not be operating a hoverboard at 10mph !!!!

I guess the wardens are the only people who can say why they weren’t able to inform people, JM.
I think it’s important to remember that the closure of the facilities was unforeseen and beyond anyone's control. However, if you feel it ruined your stay and that you overpaid, why not speak to the club and seek a refund?
