Lovely peaceful site, poor attitude!

We stayed at Plymouth Sound from Tuesday 16th to Friday 19th August.  Our primary reason for staying was to kayak in Plymouth Sound and watch the National Fireworks on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.  We weren't intending to spend a great deal of time at the site but nevertheless wanted a nice pitch.  When we arrived we were given conflicting information, the gentleman warden gave us a choice of two pitches whereas the lady gave us a choice of one (they obviously had different agendas).  We plumped for the pitch with views of the sound, I'm a local girl, and we were planning to spend our last evening (Thursday)  enjoying the view so this was perfect.  We spent Tuesday and Wednesday as planned paddling and watching the fireworks, which were splendid.  Imagine our disappointment when on returning from our Thursday paddle we found someone else on our pitch.  The excuses form the gentleman warden were feeble, apparently it was out fault! We had left something on our pitch the previous day, this had been moved so we didn't bother on Thursday.  However, I thought that wardens kept a careful review of pitch occupancy, appArently not here!  We have spent years abiding by the ever increasing Caravan Club rules and regulations, what a pity that the wardens on this particular site can't do the same.   We have been considering for some time whether to try the opposition, this might just be the tipping point.  We spent our last night disappointed, not an apology in sight! I don't know if anyone reads these, but a response would be nice!
