We stayed on this site for the bank holiday weekend arriving on the Friday at 6.30pm departing on bank holiday Monday. It is a lovely clean site but the facilities block could do with updating although it was clean. As with most bank holidays in this country the weather wasn't great with heavy rain on the Saturday and rain again on the Sunday but it didn't dampen our spirits and we decided to set off for a walk regardless. It took us 45 minutes at a good steady pace to walk into Benllech but well worth it as there is a Tesco express, a lovely deli/café a few fish & chip shops before you even get to the beach front where there is another café with small gift shop & mini arcade. The ice creams in there are lovely too. Rock pools provided lots of fun for our kids who didn't mind getting wet & the beach is sandy. We made the most of what was there considering the weather & as a family like walking anyway. There isn't a local pub that you can walk too from the site but you will pass a few Llamas & chickens. We will look forward to a return visit hopefully with better weather next time so that we can really enjoy the views. If you are National Trust member a trip to Plas Newydd is well worth it too, we did this on our way home & the sun came out so the kids were able to enjoy the adventure playground. Lots to do in this beautiful area & 3 nights just weren't long enough. Already planning our next visit.
Lovely stay
Lovely site, well maintained and very happy staff. Big improvement in the water pressure from when we visited some time ago. The only complaint was the approach driveway which was full of potholes, this needs some serious attention, after all we pay a lot of money for our caravans and this carn't do them any good.

Easter 2015
Stayed a couple of nights, friendly wardens, enjoyed their warm welcome. clean, if not modern toilet block. The site is well kept, decent dog walk on site with breath - taking views over Snowdonia. There was no road noise so we found the site peaceful. Excellent base for touring Anglesey.
Good Easter
Just got back from a five night stay over Easter, just missed out on the wind & rain, hooray. Site is handy for getting out & about on the island or mainland. The warden's work hard to keep the site clean & tidy & are very friendly. My only gripe really is the toilet block is in need of a makeover. Another issue was a certain fellow caravaner going the wrong way round the road to take a short cut, & going to fast around the site as did a few other people & with load's of kid's on bikes, there could have been a nasty accident. All in all a good five night's & we will be back.

This site as always continues to please my wife and i, more hard standing is an improvement, improved play equipment. Toilets very clean, site clean and tidy. I only give four stars for location as it is necessary to use car to go any where, but excellent beaches are within easy reach (under four miles ). very quiet only wildlife noise . we have visited site on several occasions and will be returning in the future.

Wet & Windy
The Wardens were very pleasant and helpful even though they were new to the site - it had only been open for a few days. The toilet block was very clean and the showers hot with plenty of water. although we were there when the weather was awful - rain and high wind - the site was so located that we were able to see all the island. We shall return.
