Why haven’t we been before ?
We spent 4 nights here but we hadn’t originally booked it as part of our South Wales tour - we were transferred from Gowerton due to flooding. We were over the moon once we got there - exactly our thing. We rely on our legs, electric bikes and local transport to get about once on site.
The wardens were brilliant as we hadn’t planned on being here had not done any research so their input was fabulous. We cycled and cycled and cycled everywhere. In fact we followed the coastal path so far we got within a mile of the Gowerton site - Swansea a total of 30 miles that day!
We tried to get a drink at the Pembry Country Inn but was told nowhere to park bikes so went further down the road to the Ship Aground, very friendly welcome , bikes racks outside, food looked nice and restaurant was full the day we went , we didn’t eat there but it looked very nice.
Was nice to be close to the beach where we spent a lovely late afternoon , evening in the sun reading watching the surfers.
On our list as a favourite and will be back.
