Just back from a fortnight in Pembrey. The weather really helped and was lovely, so we spent many days on the fabulous beach there. The country park is also excellent and all the activities well maintained. The site itself is large, very open, with virtually no natural barriers between pitches, which may not be to everyone's taste. The area outside of the country park is hit and miss in terms of places close by to go and explore as some, especially Llanelli - which is where the nearest supermarkets are - is really run down and not somewhere you want to spend any time in. You need to venture further afield to Tenby to find nice places to visit - an hours drive away. In summary, a fantastic site to visit in good / dry weather as the park and coastline is amazing and was great for our family trip.
