We frequently visit Pembrey. When you drive in to Pembrey site you are greeted with a spectacular sight, of beautiful summer flowers display. The trees and tall hedges around the site, are beautiful and helps with shade if you do not like to be in the sun all day. The facilities areas are spotlessly clean but, rather dated, Which is not the fault of the wonderful, friendly, kind and helpful wardens. However, looking past the dated facilities as long as they are clean and presentable that’s all we look for. This year, it’s under new management, Jo is amazing, kind, funny and works very hard. Great to see Jenny is there still. She’s fabulous. There is a new local chip shop literally about 5 mins drive away, Bowens. Lovely chips. Every Friday and Monday a pizza van is on site and Saturday it’s jacket potato night, haven’t yet tried the jackets as rather expensive but the pizza is fantastic. Not forgetting every night Mr Whippy comes around. Would be nice, if reception would stock milk and bread and other small essentials. Pembrey Country park has something for everyone, from bike rides, lovely walks, beach, skiing and crazy golf to name a few. Can’t wait to return.
