We enjoyed the location and the many walks in the area; and although the weather was not always sunny and warm it did not stop us from walking around the adjacent park and visiting many of the local towns. The site, according to the site map, can accommodate about 125 pitches and during school holidays the place is likely to be full. This was the case when we were there and our only concern is that the facility is a single block with a small annex. When there are in excess of 250 people on the site the four showers and one hairdryer per gender is probably not enough during peak hours. The annex, with facilities for two people, is open when the main block is being cleaned.
