One week on on Pandy club site

Firstly the site pitches, facilities, and wardens were first rate, no complaints at all, but for us, the site position did not meet our needs. We arrived on a Sunday to be met by person(s) blasting away with a shotgun somewhere nearby. This went on for several hours traumatising our dog. The train line nearby carries both goods and passenger trains, hence they were running virtually 24hrs a day. I watched a goods train hauling carriages for Tesco that was over 30 carriages long pass by as an example of what you could possibly experience during your stay. But the real deal breaker for us was the fact that there is nowhere in walking distance that you can go, to pick up basic supplies such as milk and bread etc. The pub by the entrance to the site was a complete disappointment in respect to food so I would not recommend, but the Carpenters arm that is a 50 min walk along some really narrow roads is brilliant, superb food and fantastic service. My advice if you consider this venue is to ring up and book first. So in conclusion if you are looking for a well laid out site with first rate facilities and friendly staff, are not bothered by the noise from the train track, your pets don’t mind loud banging, and you don’t mind driving to stock up on supplies then this site might suit your needs.
