Planned visit as a stop over on the way home from Cornwall for one night only. Wish we'd stayed longer. Must be some fantastic walking in the area so will return to enjoy that. The site was easy to find and the pitch was just fine for us. Loved hearing the trains passing and the river flowing. Very peaceful overall. Very good dog run which was off lead and our springer enjoyed a swim in the stream. The facilities were very clean when we stayed and the wardens very friendly on arrival. Nothing to complain about. We also had dinner at a pub called the Carpenters Arms and we both throughly enjoyed the meal which was home made and delicious. Overall, the site, the location and the pub dinner were just the job.
