The views from this site are fabulous! Nothing more relaxing than looking out over the ocean, even when it’s windy! The perfect site for a coastal walk into Whitley Bay, excellent paths and the scenery is wonderful. A stroll away from St Mary’s Lighthouse too which is a must see! We loved watching the seals and the birds, the perfect way to switch off from normal, everyday life! The staff on the site were lovely and it’s very well kept. The only down side was the dated facilities, especially after visiting other club sites that have had updates and improvements made! Here the toilet blocks definitely need updating! Only one hand dryer was working and getting the key to work was frustrating! Minor problems but I do think the team deserve to have their site modernised! The washing machine wasn’t working either which wasn’t brilliant when you’re away for a few weeks. A very peaceful site though and one we may return to in the future!
