We arrived at Old Hartley with our new to us caravan after trading in our Motorhome. The relief warden was so kind assisting us pitching after we chose a difficult pitch- with being newbies we were clueless with the sloping pitches at this site. The sites we have visited previously with our Moho have been much more level. The warden was a star and even guided us through moving pitch later on in our stay when a more level pitch became available. The site is well placed for walking along the beautiful beaches and for visiting the lighthouse. This is our local area so are aware of what the site has to offer. On our leaving day our jockey wheel broke and we had to buy another one. This was after support from our super neighbour and from the warden. Nothing was a problem for these two!! We would love to return but only when we have a bit more experience. Nightmares are made of the slopes on this site for newbies! Also the facilities are tiny and are really showing their age.
