Agree with Keith and Margaret regarding the levelling of pitches - we'd been before so were prepared. We have to children aged 9 and 5 and they had a great time. the lack of 'play area' etc etc for the children is, in my opinion, a bonus as the children then make their own fun. The facilities were spotless (thank you). A 20min walk gets you to St. Mary's lighthouse either over the cliff top or along the beach at low tide. Fab little beach with plenty of rocky outcrops just 2 mins walk from the site. Pitches in the middle are a bit cramped but the ones on the front are perfect. New co-op supermarket very near (great for croissants in the morning). Avoid the chip shop on Good Fridays - the queue was massive all day! visit Delaval Hall (National Trust) and Walworth Castle (English Heritage). Great break, thank you.
