Spent a couple of nights here with my 12yo son and his mate. It’s a great location with a wonderful view. We walked along the cliff into Whitley Bay and got the bus back - bus stop just up the road - after visiting Tynemouth Castle. The facilities are spotless - hopefully the new wardens next year will maintain the high standard. The Delaval Arms just outside the gate is a superb pub, which every visitor should go to. It’s the sort of family run business that deserves support. The food is very good and the real ales brewed on site are top quality too. We will certainly return
