This was our first visit but unlikely we'll be back. Was limited on choice of pitches as a lot of vans pitched on seasonal pitches, seemed like almost half. Also as we were a camper the wardens asked us not to pitch in field 1 in case we got bogged down, well we were quite disappointed as there were better pitches there and it must have been the driest 2 weeks of the summer so no chance of that! Not much in the way of walks from the site, except the dog walk by the river. We were here to visit Cragside, Wallington and Seaton Delaval Hall; also went to Amble by the coast and stopped to see Northumberlandia on our way to site.
