We are new to caravanning this year and thought this site would be a good starting point. We have now been 3 times as we absolutely love it. The wardens are fantastic, so friendly and nothing is ever a problem to them. The site is as it is described so if you are looking for evening entertainment, toilet blocks, being squished into small areas like sardines and being charged a fortune for the pleasure then stay away however if you love the peace and quiet of the countryside, watching wildlife and meeting the most friendliest of people you will love it here. I love the fact the wardens leave you to decide which pitch you want then you just let them know where you are. They advised us on our latest visit which pitches were best to avoid (it had been raining heavily) and also remembered the areas we preferred to be. Their shop and information shed are well equipped, they work hard a keeping the site welcoming and I love the little herb box where you can help yourself. The only negative comment I have is that they are closing soon as their season is ending, enjoy your time off guys, we will definitely see you next year
