This was our 5th visit to this quite secluded site over several years and the peaceful ambience has remained constant throughout. The current wardens are extremely helpful and friendly and do everything they can to make your stay relaxed. There are a myriad of places to visit and pleasant walks to undertake in this beautiful area of the North Yorkshire moors and the adjacent coastline. Whitby is only 6 miles away and Scarborough c15 for those wanting a busier seaside experience. Walks to Falling Foss waterfall and the pleasant cafe there start directly from the site. All in all great site in a beautiful location. Highly recommended.
