This is a site for everyone. We had a great few days here. The site was very well kept and the wardens were fabulous - so helpful. Not having a shower block didn't worry us at all. If arriving from the south we would recommend the route from Scarborough ( we came in  on the A64/A171, by default because of roadworks holdups) It does bypass the steeper inclines and tighter bends. Lots to see and do around here - a great base for getting around! Found The Stables and The Garden Centre near Whitby Park and Ride very good places to eat, but near the site there are some good pubs - the Wilsons Arms in Sneaton was great value for money.
