Peaceful and beautiful
Lovely site with friendly and very helpful wardens. There's a great circular walk from Maybeck to Littlebeck and back across the fields. The Moon and Sixpence in Whitby has the best views of the Harbour and good food. Walk from Whitby to Sandsend - The Hart Inn has just wonderful crab sandwiches. I'm a local and this is the site I use at the beginning and end of long trips. I just love it (except the midges. But I'm susceptible to them!)
