We regularly visit the North York Moors and usually stay in a cottage. However during our last visit we spotted this site and decided to book and bring our caravan up. I am so pleased that we did! The site is located in a perfect location for a quiet stay with fantastic walks and within easy car travel distance to Goathland, Whitby, Grosmont, Robin Hood's Bay etc - just what we wanted. There is a lovely wood on the site for dog walking and it is only a very short (and lovely) walk to Falling Foss where there is a (seasonal) tea shop. Despite the review below mine we felt it was an excellent site with very friendly management. We actually welcome and appreciate the policing of the rules. Rules are generally for well founded safety reasons (spacing between vehicles etc) and the interests of other residents. The grass was soft due to the weather and so it seems common sense to me to keep vehicles off of it. No special cases - the rules are the rules for good reason and help ensure what makes Caravan Club sites the high standard that they are. We shall definitely visit again.
