Another no facilities site to add to our list of must return to!

We can add not much more to the excellent comments regarding this site. The instuctions to finding this site are ok! Coming from the Midlands (A169 via Pickering) When I return again i will take a slightly longer route in, accessing the B1416 off the A171 from the south side (Scarborough). Woodsmith own the quarry nearby and their signposts offer a good aid to finding this site. Ist orange sign on A171. Second and third signs out side their premises on B1416. At the third sign brake and slow down to a stop at the upcoming junction. The entry to the caravan club site is immediately on your sharp left through red gates. Swing wide in ...easy. This route also skirts Whitby (great view ) takes you past Sainsbury's and Aldi for future reference. Yes! I know it takes longer but it's worth it. Runswick bay. Will be your best beach for the dog. And for a meal out stainsacre's Windmill inn will offer a fantastic meal albit in a plain looking pub! Enjoy!
