Overall pleasantly surprised as was unsure about visit due to reviews. I also had asked CAMC to look into this site due to poor reviews - also on trip advisor too. Didn't see any scrap cars on entrance to site. Large site set out in rows facing sea & supposedly divided into members (site 2) & non members but we seemed to be in a row of motorhomes on site 2 with hire vehicles amongst us & a tent roof camper so I don't think that is adhered to! You're allocated a pitch on arrival & the warden drives round (not much awareness of environmental harm) to show you as pitches not numbered. Though you are given a site plan. Site clean and tidy. toilet block clean and modern. Laundry facilities better than most club sites with large efficient washing machines and tumble dryers. Well stocked shop and handy bus stop outside site. Electricity points 10 amp and just had to be careful not to overload. Pebble beach, but nice walk along the old railway line which goes through middle of site and is a national cycle trail. Was able to take camper into Oban and park OK, used carpark nearest to main road leaving Oban. We did a day trip to Mull and caught the bus into Oban and the ferry and the bus on Mull to Tobermory - quite straightforward.
