Very central to various locations....
Booked here for 11 nights as our 2 x 9 year old grandchildren were due to be with us for 7 & we were going to have the BH weekend to ourselves.....
However, plans changed & we were alone for the whole time but filled it with days out to various local attractions & locations which were all 30 - 45 mins away by car, which we had taken in addition to our motorhome.
Visited beach locations from Cromer to Gt Yarmouth, Bure Valley Railway - Wroxham to Aylsham + a river boat trip from Wroxham which we shared with friends who visited us for a couple of days....
However, after booking we came across the Mississipi River Boat Cruise based in Horning which is more local & £4.50 per person cheaper.... they even do an evening cruise, Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Also in Horning is the Bure River Restaurant (fish only), amazing food but in peak season requires booking well in advance as it only has 30 seats & is child friendly.
On the subject of food, the local butcher in Ludham is excellent, superb quality meat, burgers & sausages virtually 'fat free'.
We went back 3 times, once to bring some food home.
Plenty of walks to enjoy.
Pitch sizes are very generous, facilities kept spotless & staff always friendly.
You can hear the 'live band' from the site if you a pitched furthest away from reception + the cockerel from the farm next door but nothing the club can do about that one!
Very enjoyable stay.
Recommended & would return.
