Not for us
I guess people have different opinions on what makes a good site so I can only give an honest view on why this site wasn’t for us.
We had originally booked for Cromer but changed to this one after reading about the travelling fair right next to that site.
With regard to location it is right next to a very busy and fast road with narrow pavement which made our dog very nervous. And me! It’s also quite a way from Ludham village itself and in the heat this meant we couldn’t walk our dog up which was disappointing.
However, there is a very nice pub about 5 minute walk from the site and a small shop in the other direction near the river.
The site facilities were very clean and it was obviously well kept. Downside of this is the frequent grass cutting and emptying of bins at 7.30 on a bank holiday which didn’t make us best pleased. Not a tranquil break by any means which surprised us…
