This is a lovely site - not too big or crowded - with very friendly staff. Useful facilities nearby (shop and pub). Walking further afield was a bit more problematic with a busy road to contend with for the first and last mile when I went to Horning Boat Show (pretty village, good pub). However, there is a lovely lane walk to Ludham (with a substantial diversional trek to the remains of St Benets Abbey if you are feeling energetic. Made very much worth it by the sighting of a hare). Afterwards, on my way to the coast I stopped off at Wroxham which, as others have commented is a fascinating and slightly weird place having been almost entirely taken over by Roys, at least in the commercial sense. The department store is delightful. Would I visit again? You bet!
