Broad smiles at the Broads Caravan Club site
A very level site with easy access to the pitches via a one-way traffic system. The Wardens were very friendly, polite and helpful and kept the site very clean and tidy.
The dog walk is only a small pathway but with the river and it's footpaths just a couple of hundred yards away that wasn't an issue.
The serviced pitch had water, electric and drainage and also TV so everything you need. The pitches are VERY hard with a 3 inch layer of granite chippings - quite rough and sharp in places - and a very solid base beneath. Metal/rock pegs are a must!
Being a dog owner we liked the description of the site and we were not disappointed, but the only down side was the number of dogs...SIX in one van plus three adults. Quite noisy but not a persistent problem. Apparently the CC does not have a policy on how many dogs you can take with you.
We had a good week here and if we have any energy left after three weeks in Devon and Cornwall and three more weeks in Yorkshire we may well go back.
We found recycling not too much of a problem: a large bin for glass - lot of wine bottles - then a couple of bins for mixed recycling then general waste bins.
