Battersea Dogs Home
This is a lovely site that we generally use twice a year. It is well positioned for access to the Norfolk Broads, with easy access for the coast too. There are good walks from the site but, if you really want to see the Broads, you will need to hire a day boat from the local marina to appreciate the beauty of Broadland.
Unfortunately, on this visit, our stay was blighted by the increasing trend toward very large numbers of dogs on sites and groups of converging friends talking loudly within awnings late into the evening whilst they get drunk. What a shame that consideration for others appears an increasingly unimportant priority for some people (members, I might add - this is a members only site).
There is nothing wrong with the site. But increasingly it does appear to attract large numbers of dogs - in 2 cases this week, 6 dogs per caravan. An awful lot of barking!
