Dissapointed

I have stayed on this site before and thought it was great. The facilities are not as amazing as some of the other sites, but are still pretty good. The site is in a great location, with access to cycle trails, the forest and coast. The site was busy this time, however staff did not always seem to know what was going on. Some of the check in and extensions admin was difficult. I asked about wifi and if there were any better or worse pitches... I was told no it was the same and the premium service was good. It wasn't great anywhere on the site. Better by the office and had to sit in the car to make some work calls. Some pitches were better than others, though staff were oblivious to this. The other very concerning issue was that there were a number of bike thefts while we were there. Apparently it is a known problem and nights when it rains heavily the site is targeted as people can't hear. I saw just one small poster saying that thieves were opperating in just 1 toilet block. If this is a known issue why is it not flagged up better? THis could be mentioned at check in (especially if rain is forcast) and there should be lots of signs up. I would never expect to have bikes stolen from an awning over night. I have to say the whole thing made me very uncomfortable and unsafe.

We agree about the poor and often non available premium Internet signal on the pitch. We have failed to pick up the  premium or free service  over last two days and had it fleetingly three days ago. This said we are finding this is the case another sites such as Cirencester and Black Knowle. The Club trumpeted the changes they were making to improve their Internet infrastructure but we are yet to see it.
