Nice New England Bay

We stayed here for a few nights on our tour around the West Coast and had lovely weather. As the weather was nice the site was quite busy but half the toilets had been locked in toilet block b ( I imagine so they don't have to clean them) I had to ask the warden to open up more! Great access to a sandy beach and as others say quite remote and large spread out site. We took the camper to the Mull of Galloway and was OK , it is a single track road with passing points. Games room on site but was kept locked! Walked to Port Logan across the Mull, didn't take long and there is a footpath that goes across to the road through the back of the picnic area (where there are a lot of wild campers pitched). Saw the Port Logan fish ponds which were great. Can also walk to the Logan Botanic gardens (on a loop) which are well worth a visit.
