Lovely big site but a bit of a walk to the facilities - if that is an issue for you be sure to ask for a pitch near them. A long walk to reception from our pitch ! Good clean facilities and very friendly staff. We cycled to Mull of Galloway( definitely worth a visit) Narrow road at the end but motorhomes were using it. We also visited Port Patrick in the motorhome ( plenty of parking) . We would have liked to visit the Botanic gardens but no dogs allowed . Take your food supplies with you as there are no supermarkets and no where to walk to for something to eat - you are on the main A road so not safe to walk along. Great sunrises and saw the stoat!
