Dog Heaven
If you want peace and quiet and to explore an often overlooked part of Scotland, look no further. The dog loved being able to chase the sea birds along the sea edge on the enormous beach which is just through the dunes from the site. A drive to the lighthouse at the bottom of the Mull of Galloway is worthwhile and we were made very welcome at the Ship Inn at Drummore. Walked to Port Logan and a Logan House Garden (which we had to ourselves) both from the site.
