This was our first visit to the site and to the area. We were attracted to its coastal location and were not disappointed. We pitched on the front nearest the sea. Although it is a large site, it is cleverly divided by large gorse hedging which created many favourite spots for members. It never felt busy even though it was nearly full. However, for us it felt too remote. Apart from the beautiful bay the nearest settlement was 4 miles away and only had a small cafe. For some this will be great so as to get away from it all but really the site could not compensate for the lack of amenities. The toilet block was not up to the standard expected, old, cobwebs, quite dirty. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a pleasant but remote coastal region then you will enjoy your holiday. Sadly this did not quite hit the spot.
