We loved the beautiful location of this site and thankfully didn't experience the electrical outages. The area is great for cycling and we particularly enjoyed visiting the Mull of Galloway and Logan Botanical Gardens. It was very windy during our stay but we saw a seal feeding in the shallow waters and gannets diving for fish along the beach. The facilities were fine for us apart from the motorhome service point, which is terrible - it has a small square drain in the middle of the space and many vehicles had to park in the middle of the road to drain their tanks due to the location of the grid. For us - our van drains in the middle underneath - it was very difficult to ensure our drain was located over the grid in both directions. This site desperately needs one of the newer full width grids that are gradually being fitted to other sites.
