Always glad to return
First visited NEB over 30 years ago and have been going back at least once most of these years. The site speaks for itself if you want a rural, coastal site with space, big pitches, peace and quiet, topped up with endless coastal walks, varied birdlife, cycling and visiting the highlights of The Rhins. The key attraction has to be Logan Gardens. What a lovely place - one of the best gardens in the UK.
The Wardens, ( there have quite a few over the years ), have always been friendly, hard working and without fail welcoming and helpful. The current team are no exception coping really well with the complexities of Covid, yet maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site.
Certainly Covid has caused it to be busier than usual, from unlocking in April to our second visit once the schools returned. As a result there has been noticeably less choice of pitches on a site which has always carried a high % of seasonals.
If you are looking for an isolated site NEB could be for you.
