Stop off

We stayed here last year for 3 nights and stayed again this year on our way to the Isle of Wight. I agree with other reviewers the signage is poor and the sat Nav doesn't recognise the entrance so for first timers it is hard to find. The dog walk isn't brilliant but at least you can let them off the lead in safety. I agree about the trees and crows but that's nature. We were in the top field on 19th March and had no trouble with a large van behind a 4x4. The nights sleep was peaceful and quiet however there's a busy main road nearby. Maybe sound insulation is not so good in snails as in caravans. We also have an on board shower room so cannot comment on the shower facilities. I felt that for the price the site is fine and when they upgrade I guarantee the price will rise. We are on another site now fully serviced with good facilities but costs 60% more per night. As is usual in this world you get what you pay for so don't be surprised by what you find for such a reasonable price BE REALISTIC.
