We are frequent visitors to Morn Hill as we live just 45 minutes away. Great site. Wardens have always been good but the latest were especially friendly! All grass pitches so easy to pitch up the awning. Large pitches all over the site but the lower tier seems more spacious somehow. Yes, the toilet and shower facilities aren’t as glitzy as some sites but there’s absolutely no issues with cleanliness. We decided to give the much recommended “fast food” van a go this evening after the wardens bigged it up! Very disappointed- small portions, soggy oven chips and expensive. Definitely wouldn’t bother again. Fish wasn’t listed on the menu board but was available- but I’m not sure I’d bother if it’s not their main fodder. I like my fish super fresh and if the kebabs we had were anything to go by, I wouldn’t trust they had the best cod available!! The site doesn’t offer much for children. No play park or area to play ball or frisbee. I love Morn Hill. We always have had a lower level pitch. It’s great if you just want to chill. The road noise is there but certainly doesn’t bother us. And yes the crows ARE very noisy. Winchester is a pretty City to visit- the Cathedral is a highlight. All in all, lovely!
