I’ve been a member of both Camping and Caravaning clubs for a long time . I’m also a member of other motorhome clubs .
I’ve always found site staff to be friendly and helpful both on club sites and private sites
I’ve not really experienced any staff with attitude problems before , that’s why I was so upset and annoyed
Anyway I’ve been elsewhere since and had excellent service

Well that just about sums it up !
School children get told off not paying customers !
It was obviously very naughty of my partner to decide she needed to go to the toilet at 11.55 am when we were about to hitch up !
Causing us to be a few minutes late leaving !
Perhaps she should have put her hand up and asked the wardens permission to leave the class !It was all about attitude !

It is indeed about attitude and it works both ways really, and an attitude where one that thinks that breaking the rules is OK but perhaps even worse not considering for one moment to ask if it's alright? Personally I would have asked out of respect for the wardens if I was going to be late leaving (and yes it has happened).
And causing you to be a few minutes late? You left 35 minutes late, hardly a few minutes I would say?
Still as you say, if you don't like club rules, don't use them in future.

Well at 11.55 it would have taken me longer to walk to the office and tell the warden we were 5 mins late than it would have taken me to hitch up 😂
The warden delayed us by going on about 12 means 12 not 12.10 !
Then I made daft mistakes hitching up
Anyway the whole saga is to daft for discussion
We will stay elsewhere next year we don’t live far away and we are getting fed up of caravaning and motor homing
The economics are working against it as a past time !
We prefer the luxury of hotels which aren’t much more expensive taking everything into account
Meanwhile thanks for taking such an interest in my review

Yes and no problem about an interest .
But really you caused your own problems and should have been hitched up well before 12:00. And leaving at 12.35 is really taking it too far.
It may have taken longer by asking the wardens but I would have taken the time as a simple matter of respect for others. It's happened to me and a simple apology and request often goes a long way, especially when one is in the wrong in the first place.
Anyway happy travels!

We live and learn and the head office have told me that the rules permit staying until 4 pm by request and providing space is available .
Incurring no additional charge !
I am very friendly with the wardens on other sites that we use , indeed they are more like friends than site wardens .
Needless to say we shall not be staying at the Moreton site again
