We've been to Minehead many times, and wardens Zoe and Sam are lovely, and sooooo hard working. Facilities are spotless. The only negative for us is about the recycling, which has changed.... It is now in a central location at the exit - fine for us, but less mobile people have to walk up and down this very hilly site for recycling - which encourages people to just dump everything in general waste. We have toured Scotland and the UK this year and last, and know that many CAMC sites still have the old system, which is recycling at various points throughout the site - which is soooo helpful to members. Please CAMC, put all your sites back to how they were - we are a members' club, and members should be the first consideration. To us, this is all to make wardens jobs easier. Many people have told us they just now put everything in general waste - we don't, but your new regime is encouraging people to do so. Comments appreciated please.
