Stayed at Minehead several times and like that it is a small peaceful site. So much to do from the site. We took the steam train to Blue Anchor and walked back to site. Went on the Exmoor Coaster to Lynmouth. Walked around Dunster and came back via the coastal path. Visited the Dunster show too. Minehead town is a 10-15 minute walk away and great local cinema there too. Nearby shops are a Co-op, pet shop and tasty chippy. Though can easily walk down to Tesco, Morrisons and Lidl from the site. Alcombe common is a nice area to walk the dog.
