Excellent Open all Year Caravan Touring Site

The caravan seems to be arranged on two tiers, the upper level is more open and spacious whilst the lower tier whilst closer to the amenities seems a touch claustrophobic. We were located on the lower tier as per our request; I have arthritic knees and can't walk so far. The staff here are really nice and helpful, they keep the amenities absolutely spotless, it's hard work doing this day in day out and we appreciated this very much. The amenity block had the look of a large scout hut but entering it dispelled this initial image we had!! Minehead is tired in some ways, brilliant in others. The West Somerset Railway is a must see attraction; it's one of the longest preserved standard gauge preserved railways in the country. It has some tacky amusement arcades on the seafront but when I was a kid I would love visiting these places. It has to said that there is nothing for youngsters to do on this Club Site though. Worth taking the 8 mile trip to Porlock for some olde-worlde pubs to eat and drink. Dunster is a special little place, love the Cafe's and Coffee shops. WE WOULD DEFINITELY REVISIT THIS SITE.
