This was the third visit by myself and wife. We like this site because of its location, close enough but far enough away from the town itself. All facilities are available in the close by Alcombe village, fish and chips, chinese and indian food, pub (The Britannia tucked away). Whatever you do, do not drink at he Hairy Dog or Stones bar in The Avenue. They are owned by the same money grabbing couple charging £4.40 for a pint of Guiness and not even displaying a price list as required by law. Lovely area.
