I visited this site with my family, during the middle of February. The site was spotlessly clean, with wonderfully warm shower blocks. We could not fault anything about the site or the staff. We were given easy to follow directions to the town, and were even advised that our second day, would be our last opportunity to travel on the famous Steam Railway, which was only open for half term. Fortunately, we managed to so do, and it was worth every penny to take a trip back in time. Minehead is a lovely small town with a variety of shops and cafe’s to keep you occupied. Slightly further afield is the village of Dunster, complete with castle. Both are well worth a visit. Taking to the car, it is an easy drive along the coast and up onto Exmoor which is as beautiful as any in the UK, in my opinion. We had a fantastic family holiday, out of season, and can not recommend highly enough, the site, staff, location and diverse range of beaches, buildings, towns an villages within easy reach. We will certainly be returning.
