Good for families

Great site BUT

Great location but the way we were told to park with no devastation was a bit upsetting,as we have a campervan and like to have our sliding door facing the evening sun ,and having sett up as instructed the warden appeared and proceeded to pace out our van to make sure I was perked correctly (much to the amusement of our neighbors) .

I assume this was this your first visit to a club site. The spacing requirement for safety reasons is maintained by each unit pitching to the peg. It can be either rear offside corner, or front nearside corner, to the peg. It’s your choice.

A motor caravan can park offside rear to the peg or near side front to the peg ,were you parked any other way that could reduce the fire break?

We were not told this, we were told to reverse drivers side to peg only.

We were not told this we were told the only way to park was to have drivers side to the peg ,they were very strict on the way we parked up. I do know fire regs ,I have been to a few club sites, but not one with so strict rules.

It is not a requirement to be off side rear to the peg ,you can as I said park near side front to the peg with  a camper,I suggest you contact the club to "advise"the site staffsurprised

Take a look at the downloadable site plan for any site, Blewett, and you’ll find it explained on the second page.

Knew it was some where ,all the more reason to have the site staff "advised" and it is on Mineheads site plan, just checked in case it was notsurprised
