This site is effectively divided into two parts. The lower part is much larger and structured, and, I suspect, slightly noisier. We chose the upper part. Only about 9 pitches around the road. It is a haven of tranquility, the only noise being the birdsong. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful & efficient, and the facilities excellent. Be aware that the upper part is at the top of the hill and the facilities at the bottom. Minehead is a typical English seaside resort with an excellent beach. It is an easy 20 minute walk into Minehead for the West Somerset Railway, the longest heritage railway in the UK. There is a Morrisions & Tesco supermarket next to the station and a large Co-op about 5 minutes walk from the site, with a couple of takeaways nearby. There is no shop on the site, although a van comes round the site at 9am daily with basic necessities. Will definitely stay there again
