Relaxing

On arrival the managers of the site were very friendly and helpful. They had a very busy weekend as it was very wet. Lovely little site, easy walking into town, also a nice 2 mile walk to Dunster. Usual excellant shower block on site. We will be back definetely.

Great site

Just returned from three nights, Wardens where extremely friendly and welcoming. The site is quiet and conveniently located for walking into town and access to the South West coast path. On arrival we were greeted by deer grazing along the site boundary. Would definitely consider visiting again.

Our first outing

We are thinking of buying a motorhome this year and joined the club to get info.  We took a hired motorhome to the site as our first ever outing.  The site staff were welcoming, warm and very helpful for us novices.  The site is quiet, conveniently located for walking into town.  The facilities were spotless and shower block warm.  A great first experience.

Peace and quiet !

Just returned from our first outing in 2016 and choose Minehead for our trial run. Wardens very friendly and helpful, facilities first class with lovely hot water showers. Very sheltered site with trees surrounding the pitches kept the strong winds at bay but not the rain and hail stones ! Biggest surprise was a visit from 6 deer in broad daylight inside the boundary and very near to main road and town wonderful !

Minehead

Just returned from a 4 day break at Minehead. Cannot fault this site for couple's. Great location for visiting Exmoor. Lovely walk with fantastic views over Porlock from Bossington Hill. Easy walk into the town centre and shop's just up the road. Not really a site suited for children.

Brilliant Stay! :)

We've just had a brilliant stay at Minehead CC Site. Thanks to Bernard and Gillian (temporary wardens) for a great welcome and looking after us! This is a truly great site to be near shops and the sea. The site itself is clean and tidy, and if you're fortunate like us, you may even see the red deer! (We saw five!) No children's play area, but plenty to do locally. We'd love to visit Minehead again! :)

On Bus route.

We had a very WET few days. Yet as it has good bus services close by, it was bearable. Also it is about 10 minutes walking to a lovely Wetherspoon pub.Towncentre has some nice independent shops. Watchett well worth a visit. Also do not miss the steam trains.

Impressive

Despite the torrential rain the site facilities were immaculate - not easy in rainy conditions. Definitely plan to return - hopefully in sunshine.
