Fasntastic site!

We arrived at Merrose farm to be greeted by Ruth and her husband. The site was the fullest I have ever stayed on, with plenty of great sized pitches. The toilets and showers were immaculate and the site was extremely clean and tidy. I ran out of gas on my first day and Ruth's hubby (cannot remember his name, sorry!) came and installed my new bottle. Very friendly staff with mountains of knowledge about local areas to visit and routes to take. Always happy to spend a few minutes chatting and to ensure all was good. We stayed for 1o mights and had no problems whatsoever. The traffic light system for entering adn leaving the site is fantastic, and assures you that you can drive in and out safely. I was a little bit nervous for driving home to the North East of England, having had some troubles getting to Dornafield in Devon, prior to Merrose. Ruth talked me through the best ways to go and reassured me that I could do it and to keep on the main roads. Absolute star!! My only gripe (if you can call it that) was the distance it took on winding roads to get to Truro and then on to any other place. Merrose Farm is a gem of a site, but more for people who do not drive to explore places, as it is roughly 30 minutes from Truro, which we use as a starting point to drive around. Fantastic if you want a relaxing holiday where you dont go far. Set on the Roseland peninsula, there are plenty of things to do around and about that area. The King Harry ferry is a must! great fun. Credit to the staff there, very friendly and especially to Ruth and her husband. Thank you!
