We decided to spend a weekend away so didn't want to travel too far and decided on Melrose Farm as its only an hour and a half from home in Launceston. The final part of the journey was interesting but if you have ever travelled in Cornwall you will know all about the lanes. On arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile and provided with all the information we needed including the arrival time of the Friday night fish and chip van.  We were given a choice of pitch which were all generous and well kept as were all the facilities. We found the location ideal for visiting the local area with the King Harry ferry just a couple of miles away which gives access to Truro and Falmouth. All in all a great weekend away on a lovely site we will be returning.
