I am very lucky Merrose Farm is only about 25 miles from home, so this was my third visit this season. It was really nice to be greeted by the warden team, who recognised me from earlier visits, it made me feel very welcome. As always the site was presented to a very high standard and the facilities were very clean and well presented. It was pleasing to hear how the wardens were keen to ensure that the site was always looking good for guests. The site location is really good easy to walk to Portscatho and other beaches on the Roseland a bus service to St Mawes and Truro, and in autumn quieter roads to get around on. Good to see the minimarket in St Mawes being upgraded making it easier to get supplies. Also most places still open even though it was October, and also some amazing weather, with some days almost like summer, but a bit cooler so better to get around in.
