We go to Merrose a similar time every year (May half-term week), it’s our early season dust down!  The site is truly amazing, peaceful, safe, well kept, clean, friendly wardens & in a wonderful part of the country it’s absolutely beautiful.  Our children (14 & 11) get to meet up with a circle of friends on site each year from various parts of England, its lovely & they’ve probably made friends for life from Merrose. This year the weather was absolutely brilliant.  We spent a lot of time on site chilling, had some lovely quality time on the beautiful Porthcurnick beach & some great visits to the picture postcard village St Mawes.  We also visited a vineyard at Portscatho & a local farm kitchen where we had a delicious lunch! The site Wi-Fi was more than satisfactory so as a family it was comfortable browsing online before bed. This site will always be special for us. Merrose see you in 2017!
