Just come back from a week break at one of our favourite sites which we have visited on numerous occasions, usually in the summer when it gets very busy. It was great to be spoilt for choice of what pitch to have. The site and facilities as always was spotless. We love the area for it's numerous walks with our dog from off & around the site. On one of our walks around the Percuil River close to St Mawes we came across a bottle nosed dolphin washed up on the river bank of which was still alive but very dry. I managed to put it back into the water and after a few minuets thinking it wasn't going to survive it swam off at speed and jumped out of the water in front of us. What a fantastic feeling which made our holiday that bit more special. Looking forward to my return probably late in the season or spring again next year, we'll give the summer a miss this time as it gets too busy now for us although it's comical watching frantic new visitors rushing to get the best pitch. (especially as the 12:00 arrival rule gets abused)
