Good for families

Staying during Covid19 Pandemic

We were a bit worried about holidaying in our Motorhome on 8th July but site information reassured us. Wardens were very hard working. Band system good in principle but only 3 men’s spaces and 4 womens spaces plus 2 family bubble areas were not enough For a full campsite ? It would have been fantastic if the pitch numbers had been halved. Our water system broke down so we were dependant on facilities this ruined our stay as with limited availability and people forgetting to collect bands after leaving Toilet/shower it led to increased waiting times to use combined toilet shower Area and This led to friction between campers. The area is beautiful but at average fitness pre retirement age you need to be fit to walk to beaches roads busy or be able to drive out. Used the bus at site entrance relaxed with timetable but if your willing to wait worth it St Mawes and Truro visited walked to Portscatho from Rosevine very up and down overgrown coastal path for those with average fitness.
